Privacy Policy
Last updated 18 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Vivere SAS ("Vivere", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects the personal data of people who contact us or use our relocation services. We act as data controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
1. Who we are
Vivere SAS, a company registered in Paris (RCS Paris 383 888 252), with its registered office at 16 rue de la Ville l'Évêque, 75008 Paris, France. For any question about your personal data, write to douglas@vivere.help.
2. What data we collect
- Contact details you provide through our enquiry form or by email: name, email address, and the origin and destination of your move.
- Relocation details you choose to share so we can advise you: timing, family situation, and the services you are interested in.
- Technical data generated when you browse our site, such as your approximate region and the pages you view, collected only as described in our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a relocation proposal (performance of, or steps prior to, a contract).
- To deliver the relocation services you engage us for (performance of a contract).
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
- To improve our website and understand how it is used (our legitimate interest, subject to your cookie choices).
4. How long we keep it
Enquiry data that does not lead to an engagement is kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Data relating to clients we work with is kept for the duration of our engagement and for the periods required by French commercial and tax law thereafter.
5. Who we share it with
We share your data only where necessary to deliver your relocation: with the relevant authorities for visa and residence applications, with landlords, schools, banks and movers you ask us to engage, and with carefully chosen service providers who help us run our business (for example secure email and document hosting). We never sell your data.
6. International transfers
Because relocation is inherently international, some data may be transferred to the country you are moving to. Where this involves a country outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise these rights, contact douglas@vivere.help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to those who need it to serve you.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its effective date shown above.
